Wifi Network

My son has a PC Specialist computer, PRIME H310M-A.
He has been connecting via the wifi connection at home successfully for some time until 2 weeks ago the home wifi network was no longer showing to connect. The neighbours network is showing. I have checked with the broadband provider and all working correctly, and all other devices in the house are successfully connecting to the home wifi. I have reset the network on the computer and at present using a ethernet cable to the router to connect. Please can you help why the wifi network is not showing to connect?
Thank you

Can you post the FULL spec from the original order please.

What happened two weeks ago? Check the update history to see whether there was a driver update....

I'll bow to your greater knowledge.

That said, what's the alternative when explanations or know how to do so otherwise can be quite difficult for your average punter.

Last thing you want to do is update your software and drivers via 3rd party programs...no telling what may get installed, whether it's the right driver etc. Should always update either via Windows itself or via the particular vendor's site (ie NVIDIA< AMD, Intel etc).

In the past I have had software update programs (part of other software) tell me I had 10+ drivers out of date when I knew there were none out of date...who knows what would have happened if I'd let it update them!
Absolutely never, ever, use a third party driver update tool.

As for software update tools, they should be unnecessary. All decent software has a 'check for updates' option, so ensure that it's enabled. Then there is no need at all for third party tools.
