Windows 10 USB installation crashes at 35% - corrupted or missing files.

We've just bought windows 10 Home on usb but installation gets stuck at 35% and the error message is certain files are missing or corrupted.

I think my son wanted to clean install on the drive that he had win 7 on so that has been erased. The pc specialist win 7 disk doesn't reinstall now.
We had to change motherboard a few months ago. The swop over didn't require any reinstallation as far as I know (carried out by local computer shop). The computers been working fine until today when trying to install windows 10.

Could the usb be corrupted?

Why won't win 7 install on the drive?

Appreciate any help.

It's likely it's a corrupt installation or that ALL partitions weren't deleted when installing 10?
