Hi,

I've just noticed in msinfo my PC is only showing 32GB of ram when I have 64GB slotted and the same in the bios.

Specs:

I9 13900Kf
Gigabyte z790 Aorus Elite AX-W
Gigabyte RTX 4090
64GB Corsair Dominator platinum DDR5 5600Mhz - 2x32GB

Any advice?

Thanks

Have you tried reseating the RAM
I first tired reseating my RAM, still nothing, then I switched the ram to the slot where stick that is working is, then there was a boot failure, is it possible the stick has just died on me?

It is possible, yes, usually failures will occur within the first 6 months of use, so long as you've cleaned the Pins and tried that stick in other slots and it's still not working, that does pretty much conclusively prove that that stick is faulty.

If you're still in warranty you can raise an RMA for both sticks (as they work best in pairs) with PCS, and they'll ship you a replacement set next day delivery, obviously this won't be until after the Christmas break.

Even if you're out of PCS warranty, RAM manufacturers warranties are usually pretty long, so still raise it with PCS as they will often sort out the manufacturer claim on your behalf instead of you having to wait.
