Hi,
I have recently received back a machine from an RMA and am attempting to install Windows Server 2008. However, the installation screen sits on a black screen for hours while the disc is read and in the rare occasion that I installed the OS, on boot it just hangs with a black screen and cursor. After waiting a few hours I can login and I receive errors such as could not connect the group policy client service. Additionally, when I try to access control panel, it just shows no contents and anything in the background is copied into the process to which you can drag around and it creates many windows in its trail.
I hope I explained it half well haha.
I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas? (Ran MemTest - No issues)
