Windows update failing on recent Windows 10 pro imaged PC

Hi all, I have a desktop PC I'm just commissioning with an odd windows update issue; it's refusing to load the latest cumulative security pack, and has been doing this from new. Like this.

I only ask since I expect others with recent pre-installed windows 10 pro builds may have seen the same thing. Anyone got a workaround yet? I would normally post a hardware spec, but it's a standard PC really and I don't think it's a hardware issue - it's more to do with the windows 10 image used to build the PC I think.

Cheers,

Clive

Here you go. It's not a particularly spectacular or unusual setup. I just wondered if there was a general issue with the image being used to build Windows 10 PCs.

Thanks - have already removed Bullguard and disabled ESet. No joy :-( Working my way through the lifewire list - no luck so far :-(

Thanks all - very useful to be able to bounce ideas around. In the end I went for a Windows 10 reinstall/reset (from inside Windows) which reset Windows while keeping the other stuff I'd already setup. Problem now fixed!

I meant to remove Bullguard when I spec'ed the box, but it's truly gone now. ESet remains and is ticking along nicely - I still remember the days of Windows Defender when it first came out, and am not brave enough to trust it completely :)
