Wireless problems!?

Just got my new desktop, its running brilliantly and no problems at home but moved it to my uni accommodation and the wireless is picking up a signal but not connecting! Not sure what the problem is!
Running on Windows 7 64 bit, no other problems.
Its a Edimax EW-7612PIn wireless adapter (with the antennae round the back)
Any suggestions?

Aha, sorry didnt realise it was the wrong thread!
I sorted it, no worries! Turned out to be a bit loose.

i just wrote random stuff there as a guess, just quite a few factors that can be a problem.
