Would a ASUS GTX 750Ti on a 450w PSU?

Hello everyone,

I bought a PC from PC Specialist in late 2011 and I'm now looking to upgrade my GPU. I'm a newbie when it comes to PC components and would like some advice.

I was looking at a ASUS GTX 750Ti 2GB as an upgrade as some games such as rFactor 2 are not running as smoothly as I'd like.

Would this card run on my PC with a 450W PSU?

Here are my specs:

AMD Phenom X2 II 565 3.40Ghz
AMD Radeon HD 6790
ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard
4GB DDR3 RAM
WD Caviar Green 1TB HDD

yes a 750ti will work just fine on a 450w PSU.

Also, something I forgot to add. Would there be any bottlenecks if I installed a GTX 750Ti into my PC? I know it's a difficult question.

I don't think it would bottleneck the CPU, for modern games 4GB RAM is getting a bit low but I think it would be fine paired with a 750ti
