Would like to buy Enigma i-7 notebook, BUT...

Hello! I wanted to buy a PcSpecialists notebook since 2008, but something stopped me everytime!!! :)
Nowadays, I am planning to sell my slightly old ThinkPad r61e and I am after its heir..
I have been checking some Asus and Dell laptops, but heat, noise and bad keyboard come as disappointing characteristics of most of those laptops...
I see that these days PcSpecialists have some good offers; I would most likely go for the following configuration:

It goes for 710 inc VAT...There is something holding me back: first, I haven`t really seen any reviews of Enigma laptops online; you know, one that would say something about the amount of heat and noise laptop produces under different conditions, how is the overall performance, are there any glitches in the performance due to, I don`t know...bad drivers, or something...Also, one last thing, I have no idea what the keyboard is like; is there any flex, and how much, what is the typing experience like, etc...

Another thing, if I buy the laptop, and dislike it because after two or three weeks I couldn`t get used to the keyboard, or I find it too noisy; will I be able to return it and get a full refund? What is your policy on that?

Great specification you've put together there!

Unfortunately we don't have any reviews of this laptop available at the moment. We haven't sent may laptops for review recently, although some of our customers have posted their own reviews on YouTube, which you can search for and view if you like.

If you buy and use the laptop for two weeks - unfortunately we cannot give you a full refund. This is because of a few reasons:

1. Each laptop is custom made to our customers requirements and we invest a lot of time and effort into each order we produce.

2. You will have covered the laptop with fingerprints, blemishes, etc, making the laptop a "second" - so we would not be able to re-use the chassis.

Yes...that is what I thought... But, why don`t you people do your own review; not in a way to say "Oh, guys, our laptops are simply the best!!!", but rather to post an article, or a video showing how the unit operates under light and heavy load, measure the temps in both situations, do battery tests, show the quality of keyboard, etc...
I believe you would get more customers if you did so, because there is not much on the web about you, and no one can go and try how your unit feel like in person...
I know that according to my specs, the laptop should be superb, but there are other factors such as ventilation, drivers, BIOS issues...Remember Dell Studio XPS line of laptops?!! They were supposed to be one of, if not THE best laptops in their class...But, the design of chasis,or rather, the position of exhaust vent spoiled the whole thing!!! Hundreds of customers bought them as soon as they were launched, but within weeks most of them were returned, there were some nasty emails sent to Dell, reviewers (customers-the professional ones are more tactical!!!) really put them down, etc...
Ok, lets try this; how frequently do customers that bought your notebooks (or Enigma notebooks, specifically) call support staff? And, how often do laptops come back for servicing, or anything similar (maybe during the first 2 weeks)?
Just a piece of advice...Ebuyer sells third party products, and they are doing well...Not so long ago, I noticed they are posting short (3-5 minutes) videos regarding certain products... And it is not even a review, it is just some kind of a hands on thingy...
Still, you guys are doing a great job!!!

Thanks for the feedback - it's a good idea and we will bear this in mind. We seem to have a few techie forum members, so maybe we might find some volunteers to make some videos.

Regarding reviews, we usually send in around 10 computers per year, you can see these here: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/reviews/

We will look into reviews of our notebooks for future reference.
