YAY! Another problem with my laptop!

Just got it back from RMA which gave me a new motherboard, wont go into details, and now every time I start up the laptop, the time and date reset to 00:00 1 May 2012. Anyone know a fix? Or am I going to have to call them for a second RMA which will really rustle my jimmies.

Maybe the internal BIOS battery is disconnected. Surely they wouldn't have let that slip... As for fixing, i'm not sure, call PCS about it, it will other wise require you to delve into your laptop.

Was the laptop with the faulty motherboard an Inferno? I had to RMA mine at the start of this week as suspected motherboard failure - did you press the power button and the lights flash but it doesn't power up/boot?

I ordered mine at the start of Jan so only had it a month or so, i hope it's not a problem that is going to re-occur as i loved the little laptop when i had it!!

Did your RMA take long?
