soooo many good movies coming out but i think Battle: Los Angeles is the one i'm really excited for.

Hmm ok it does look good but is it not just a little Transformers meets Skyline meets War Of The Worlds type thing? Looks like the same old plot line I've seen a dozen times these last 2 or 3 years :S

heh. wont say you're wrong...but my tastes tend to run towards the 'Bay-hem' side of film making.

Its not out till 2012, but i am definately looking forward to Superman: Man of Steel. The new superman is British (Henry Cavill) and the director also did watchmen (underated) and 300. He has already said he wants a darker and more physical hero. The last was a let down so hopefuly this will re-invent the franchise like batman begins did.

Other than that the new transformers movie. I keep hoping that they will do it justice. The last one was another let down. Sneek peak trailer looks epic.

I dunno, I think a 'darker' Superman is the wrong approach.

If the recent film did anything wrong, it's that it didn't Superman BE Superman. even though we had some spectacular sequences and glimpses of his power, it all kinda disappeared under the Lois/Kid sub plot. ugh.

i dont know if you've seen the All Star Superman comic (and recently animation) but in that, Superman is brilliantly 'super', if you will.

in my opinion, thats how Superman should be..almost god-like...that's why i really hate on these origin stories. i wanna see my guys at the height of their powers, not growing awkwardly into them.

Unknown should be good, can't think of a bad Neeson film... but then i liked the A-Team movie, totally took me back in time, great casting.
To prove i have no taste i actually quite enjoyed Skyline.

how about Apollo 18... maybe this film crew can get the lighting and shadows right ;)

I really want to see that. It almost made my number one but i've read things about the script that make me think 50% of the film is going to be epic and 50% will be...not so much.

Hoping i'm wrong, of course, but...

Transformers 3; Sucker Punch; Your highness......They ALL look like they will be brilliant. Pineapple Express humour abound in Your highness.......:D

Also want to see "Paul" although I think it will be desperately bad....hoping so much it isnt. "Super" (James Gunn) looks interesting for those who like violence and superhero stupidity. Will it be better than previous efforts? Couldnt post a clip due to the good ones being a bit err.. content sensitive.

Yeah I enjoyed Paul, lots of toilet humour like you say, a few good one liners, good choice on Seth Rogan doing the voiceover for Paul

Don't think I've seen Drag Me To Hell but I saw Insidious the other day.... it was OK. Couple of jumpy moments but its the same old story rehashed with different actors. Watch Dead Silence to see what I mean, done by the same guy. Its pretty much exactly the same film but with different characters, the plot follows exactly the same structure lol

Looking forward to On Stranger Tides. Reason being two-fold. Firstly, its PotC...nuff said, but i'll also be seeing it with my gf who lives at the other end of the country, so havent been to the cinema with her for about a year :) (and she loves Mr Depp)
