That's what I have come up with at the moment but I am not very experienced here so would like some help with my build. Thanks in advance.

What this thread was about was I am looking to purchase from PCS a gaming computer. I have a budget of £750 and am looking for the best I can buy for that. The computer will be used mainly to play world of warcraft, call of duty and other similar games and also for movies/music. If anyone could suggest me a build I would be grateful since i am clueless when it comes to the inside of computers.

Do you need peripherals (Keyboard, Mouse, Screen etc) other external parts to the pc???
And do you hold preferences as far as Intel/ AMD and Nvidia /ATI

AMD and Nvidia would be nice and I do not need any peripherals.

OK then a spec will follow though i would wait for someone else to correct my almost inevitable mistake as far as the CPU goes (AMD is not my speciality) :)

Also do you have a usable OS or do you want that included?

I currently have a brand new windows 7 64bit unopened which I got for free from my sixth form so I already got a OS

How well would you say that build you have created could deal with say Call of duty Black ops and world of warcraft and what settings do you think I could run both on? (max, ultra ect)

Thank's for all your help, really appreciate it.

I think for your budget and useage Nemisis has got a spot on spec for you there!

Can fully vouch for that Phenom II X4 970 as thats what I'm running :) and from what I've read the GTX560Ti is a cracking card too.

If you want to save a bit, albeit not a great deal, you could drop your HDD down to a Caviar Green instead of Black and you won't really noticed the performance difference at all. You might also want to consider dropping the card reader, although it only saves a few quid (every little helps right?!) I find that I barely ever use mine and all it does is allow dust into my case!

So if i lowered the Hard Disk to 1TB WD CAVIAR GREEN WD10EARS, SATA 3 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE would there be any noticeable difference or should i stick with what it is at the moment.

You'll be able to play WoW on ultra settings with well over 100+fps no problem (if you turn off V-Sync). I run everything as high as possible with my GTX 470 and it never has a problem. Can't say about CoD but I'd imagine you could play it on Max very easily and possibly Ultra too.

Sorry posting before I've refreshed the page XD
You wouldn't notice any difference unless you're really paying attention. I think between the two drives, one at 5,400 Rpm the other at 7,200rpm you really won't notice a difference. If you want a large noticeable difference splash out and get yourself an SSD, you'll be flying then!
