It's a bit complicated but lets start from the beginning, my mothers laptop with Windows XP had a screen blackout. It was nothing major and aside from plunging in a monitor not much has changed but when she started up the computer today the aux screen displayed the Windows power up sequence but not the log window and then the log window flashed on the main screen! Up to this point I though that the screen malfunction was a loose cord but it clearly works sometimes
