I'm looking to buy a gaming pc for the first time. I'm not very good with what is good and what isn't with pc's, so some advice would be great. I want it to have very good graphics, ram, processor, hmm whatever else a gaming pc should have. My budget max is probably around £900. Also I want it to last for many years.

I'm not a very hardcore gamer, but I do play a lot of mmorpg's, fps and some pc games. I like to download music, watch vids, browse etc.

If anyone can come up with a system, would be helpful, thanks!

Thanks for the reply Simo, If I was to improve on one of your options for a little more money, which would you improve on? CPU or graphics or maybe RAM?

to be honest thats a great rig, and an increase would be a bit costly! i'd go for that as it would blow MMO's out the water :)

Nice rig simo. I think he hit the nail on the head with this one for you arrmar. And welcome to the forums. Trust me, when you get to know us more, you'll know we know a good PC when we see one. Watch how many others approve of this build.

I'd say graphics IMHO. If your using the build up above the only thing I think you'd need to change is the CPU Cooler unless you're planning on overclocking. The standard CPU cooler should do for stock.

The GTX 460 is a nice card, but again, if you're planning on overclocking it. If you don't want the hassle then I'd say the 5850 would be better for gaming especially if the majority of your games don't take advantage of Physx etc.
