Hi there, would you be able to post the build in the proper format? A thread on how to can be found here (make sure you include the green link at the bottom): https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/foru...ification-to-the-forum-check-this-spec.73718/

Also what monitor will you be using? (make and model or resolution and refresh rate) And when you say sims, do you mean Sims as in the EA game series or sims as in Simulators like Project Cars or Farming Simulator for example? Once we have the full spec in an easy to read layout and this info we'll be able to help more!

You dont want to order this, to start with you have a CPU with in built graphics and a graphics card but theres other issues too.
I understand you basically want to build a very cheap custom spec, inc a monitor and for under 1K but thats going to be very very hard considering current prices are up so much with the various shortages going on.

Off the shelf may be better value for you,. and the build you have above wouldnt last you any longer than a few years so theres no benefit to it.

Oh ok . I’m looking something that would last for at least 5yrs. But this is my issue with not know that it had graphics card and built in.

For £1000, and including a monitor, thats a tough call... im not sure its possible.
You -might- be able to squeeze one thats a decent 1080p system, but its going to be limited on how much you can upgrade.
Ill have a go...

This would be an absolute barebones i would do...then buy a cheap 1080p monitor for under £100...but the routes are there to upgrade this and grow it.... just about...

Case
LIAN LI LANCOOL II GAMING CASE still fairly cheap, but very good case
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Six Core CPU (3.6GHz-4.2GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4)
Motherboard
ASUS® TUF GAMING B550-PLUS (DDR4, USB 3.2, 6Gb/s) - ARGB Ready! Minimum motherboard and will mean you can upgrade CPU
Memory (RAM)
16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card
6GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1660 SUPER - HDMI, DP - GeForce GTX VR Ready! to get in budget, a 1660 or 1650 super but out of stock
1st M.2 SSD Drive
512GB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2000 MB/R, 1100 MB/W) OS system and main games, motherboard can support better but budget
Power Supply
CORSAIR 550W TXm SERIES™ SEMI-MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET TXm so if you need to upgrade PSU you can due to modular nature, the CV ones would mean completely rewiring, with these...in theory, you can unplug the PSU and put one of the same model, but higher wattage in should you upgrade GPU and monitors for 1440p, budget restricts RMx or just a 750W PSU to start off with
Power Cable
1 x 1 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Processor Cooling
STANDARD AMD CPU COOLER Should be fine on a 3600 CPU, if you ever upgrade to a better CPU you will want to buy a cooling system
Thermal Paste
STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING £9 to buy thermal arctic paste, which is better but budget
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Card
10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT (Wi-Fi NOT INCLUDED)
Wireless Network Card
WIRELESS INTEL® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 2,400Mbps/5GHz, 300Mbps/2.4GHz PCI-E CARD + BT 5.0 gives you bluetooth as well, and is AX, not AC broadband, so much more recent, its a good WiFi card and well worth the extra £10
USB/Thunderbolt Options
MIN. 2 x USB 3.0 & 2 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL + MIN. 2 FRONT PORTS
Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64 Bit - inc. Single Licence [KK3-00002]
Operating System Language
United Kingdom - English Language
Windows Recovery Media
Windows 10 Multi-Language Recovery Image - Unlimited Downloads from Online Account
Office Software
FREE 30 Day Trial of Microsoft 365® (Operating System Required)

BullGuard™ Internet Security - Free 90 Day License inc. Gamer Mode
Browser
Microsoft® Edge (Windows 10 Only)
Warranty
3 Year Silver Warranty (1 Year Collect & Return, 1 Year Parts, 3 Year Labour)
Delivery
STANDARD INSURED DELIVERY TO UK MAINLAND (MON-FRI)
Build Time
Standard Build - Approximately 10 to 12 working days

It it over budget though, i could chop it down so it was under, but you would automatically end up with a throw away build
So you can add in a Gen M.2 SSD (takes two, one gen 4, one gen 3) and other storage like HDD or normal SSD over time if you want/need it.
I think using a TXm PSU means theres an easier way to upgrade PSU if you have to.
The Tuf 550 motherboard means theres some upgrade path there for the CPU too.... so if you are careful, more than 5 years use... could stretch it out like a proper custom build usually would.
In theory.

Someone needs to check the idea over here cos i'm thinking out loud.

I've just come up with a similar build to this for a seperate thread. a £100 monitor would bring you just over budget. The 1660 Super would be ideal, but realisically it doesn't fit in the budget as @sibun1 has found out.

Graphics Card
4GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1650 - HDMI
1st M.2 SSD Drive
512GB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2000 MB/R, 1100 MB/W)
Power Supply
CORSAIR 750W TXm SERIES™ SEMI-MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET

My advice would be leave it another couple of months, save some more money then hopefully prices will at least have leveled out and you'll get a better spec for the money

Am I right about the PSU though, going for the modular ones should make a PSU upgrade more straight forward?
Assuming its the same series/make of PSU?

I believe you should be right. However, the TXm is only semi-modular, so there are some fixed cables on the PSU.
