Will do thanks.

I also got an email from then saying "unfortunately your order has not been processed successfully because there was an error with the payment". The money left my account so I'm confused. Is this also because it's clearing?

If that’s the case then you’d need to call PCS, something has messed up somewhere.

I really hope I'm not about to lose 1.3k
You will not lose it, the money that looks like its disappeared on your account is probably just a shadow (that can happen sometimes) and will reappear once the bank has worked out that it wasn't actually taken (though this isn't always entirely quick by the banks)

As Spyder said just give PCS a call and the will be able to sort it out - though sometimes it can involve a call to the bank/card company to tell them yes it is you and yes you want it let through.

The money was waiting for pc specialist earlier but now its no longer in the holding stage but has gone through to pc specialist I believe

This is likely ringfencing.
Did you pay by debit card?

Debits basically work in two parts, First is the transaction you see, which checks against the account and basically puts the money to one side.
It all varies a little depending on back and retailer, but then you normally have a few days before the retail completes the other half, basically taking that money from your account.

If its failed, but the money was there and now not showing, its normally that the ringfencing happens from the first part even though the transaction failed. The retail cant pick the money up/do teh second half of it though its just a case of things catching up on themselves.
It normally only takes a few days for the ringfencing to cancel, but all depends on bank/how the transaction is processed etc if its not there in a day or two its worth checking with your bank to see if its actually processed, which you can then go back to PCS with to get them to sort it out.

I saw it in that stage where it set the money aside earlier but I no longer see this option, I now only see PC specialist ltd

Then maybe contact PCS, it could just be the way your bank does it... have you checked back in your PCS account?
