So bit the bullet, did the upgrade , all seems good , apart from the cpu temp fluctuating , kind of spiking up and down even on desktop . In win 10 i was sitting around 40c roughly , but as i look at my icue now its spiking from anything from 50 -65c, up and down fans ramp then fans off, during gaming it does not go over 70c which was normal for me , I only had this start happening since the upgrade.

I have tried reinstall the updates through windows , i have also installed chipset drivers, installed gpu drivers again . and when i go to task manager i can not see anything high cpu usage at all . I have also done all latest updates for my i cue and cpu cooler through icue . I am going to be getting the system upgraded soon through pcs , but would like to know what has caused this in the upgrade .

I have looked online but cant find any single solution , was just wondering if anyone has known of a similar issue after win 11 upgrade . I have also made sure power in windows is set to balanced . The coolant temp does not increase at all, it seems normal but its just the spikes in temp up and down i cant work it out .

Have you made sure iCue and all iCue device firmware is up to date? On an upgrade, nothing may be open but if you open task manager you’ll likely see loads of ongoing background tasks, that would happen for a day or so as everything settles and caching sorts itself out

An in place upgrade of windows is never recommended, clean install is always the best option. I would still suggest that over troubleshooting at this stage
