i had an AMD FX-8350 and a 970 and yes, it's like night and day you won't be disappointed. Beside gaming, i noticed a HUGE difference while rendering videos and overall speed and responsiveness.
Yes, it needs to be on otherwise you get like 15fps. On quality mode i was around 50, on performance and ultra performance mode it goes up to 60 and 70 but you start to notice the changes of the resolution. In the end i decided to remove some effects that i don't like or i don't think make the...
The benchmarks from Nvidia are pretty accurate. With everything maxed out the average fps I get is around 52 in 4k. It's a very big game and it's packed with npcs and some things like the magazines, the posters on the walls are pretty low res. Opposite to that the level of detail on the...
It's the Zotac trinity. I spent most of the time transferring files from the old pc and reinstalling things so I didn't really check. I can say that it makes some noise but it's because the fans are always going at full speed, I need to sort them out. 😅
I took some pictures but they're too big in size, couldn't post them this morning. I played Cyberpunk for a while and as expected it runs really well in 4k with everything maxed out.
For the ones who are still waiting. Perhaps I was lucky but it seems to me that the average waiting time is 2...
Either after midnight (when I get back home) or tomorrow morning I will! 😁 unfortunately the exterior of the box was a bit humid and there was a bit of condensation even on the case so I didn't try to turn it on this morning.
I ordered mine on september 21st but unfortunately couldn't proceed with the payment until later. My bank transfer limit wasn't high enough and i didn't realize, in addition to this my bank was only accessible through appointment at the time (covid prevention) so my order was only processed on...
What i'm saying is that 1080p (even 1440p) on a 4k monitor looks way worse than on a monitor with that as the native resolution. If you want to play at 1080p you should have a 1080p monitor ecc...
Another thing about the monitors, since many don't seem to realize this, you really should have one that matches the resolution you want to play your games. This sounds pretty obvious but some people seems to think that a 4k monitor will be good to play games at 1080p in 3 years. It's not. 1440p...
4k gaming unless you keep upgrading it's not feasible (at 60fps or above) in the longer term, but i'd say that 4k monitors are an investment for the future.
