My pc works well at times but goes into a very slow operation, almost freezing up. I have windows XP and plenty of hard disc storage but only 1gb of ram. When I go into windows task manager with no other applications running it displays my CPU usage going up and down from 4% to 100%. What are the possible causes. HELP bhbromley
