I'm interested to hear any stories of past pc companies(now defuct) based in the UK that you may heard of or even purchased from. Obviously please don't include the ones that are still in business.
Here's my list,
Evesham vale - My older brother's first pentium based pc, a solid...
Ask the sales team over the phone and ask for your rx6800(xt) queue number or any other components that you build is waiting on. Or else you could ask for general build queue number, but it can be misleading as there may be other in front of you that could be missing specific components too
Spoke to PCS and it looks like they are looking to get in XFX RX-TMATFD8(RX6800XT) to arrive sometime this month, which is reference model for those who are allocated to it. I'm in the middle of the RX6800XT queue at 120 so unlikely to get it for my pc build which is only a GPU left to move on...
Thanks for the info. I have the 5900X build too, just waiting on GPU which is RX6800XT. Been looking around for gpu from other retailers, only a few choices of 3090 in stock PNY, KFA2 and Gigabyte around £1600 to £1700. Too expensive for me.
I hope PCS might restock with new revised Meshify 2. With the perks of a removable front dust filter and easy to remove front panel without needing to worry about pulling the cables out.
I saw a PNY RTX 3090 in stock on scan today for £1699. Maybe an option to speed up PC build. Personally I would of preferred to get G9 on black Friday deal paired with rx 6800xt(PCS build) and it may still work out a bit cheaper.
Not sure if this is the same one I saw on Amazon
It's a bummer to wait to possibly Jan. AMD fault not PCS. I guess it's worth keeping an eye on online retailers to see if any 3080 or 6800xt may creep in to stock this year while I wait with the pc build. I signed up for the queue on EVGA EU webpage for one of their 3080 cards and as far as I...
If we are lucky PCS may get some supplies of RX 6800XT sometime this week. I spoke to the sales team the other day and they think it might be the XFX cards. (to be honest all 3 brands looks impressive with a little more beefy cooling then the reference ones)
The cases that has been popular so far was
H500M (my choice)
MESHIFY S2(the new and superior Meshify 2 is out for sale on online stores)
As they all have good space and airflow and can fit 280mm size AIO CPU cooler radiator/fan on the top of the roof
