I've just asked and luckily yes, they already have a monitor, an "Acer model no. ed270r". The lad is definitely after a PC so he can play modded games and use Steam etc. and the mother would also like to occasionally use it for work, so a console is out on that front.

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST First Gaming PC For A Youngster

You guys were very helpful putting together my £2000 gaming PC last year, I recommended you to a friend who is looking to buy a gaming PC for her son, lower mid-range this time with a budget of £800-£1000. No special requirements, doesn't need extra storage space or a blu-ray or anything, he's...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Are These Specs Appropriate?

Hey guys, computer arrived and is set up, runs like a dream. One slight hiccup, I know this isn't the right section for a technical question but I figured I'd start here since it's where I got the specs. The intel wireless AC9260 that came with BigFoot's specs has very low signal strength, my...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Are These Specs Appropriate?

Thanks! Curious about one thing, is there a benefit to having multiple storage drives like that over one large SSD? I have external hard drives so might not need the Seagate HDD, but I was wondering about the purpose of the other three SSDs?

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Are These Specs Appropriate?

Wanted a mid-range gaming PC, also to use it for music recording, video editing and multitasking which tax my current computer. My budget is around £2,000 but some of these choices were shots in the dark, was hoping somebody in the know could tell me anywhere I went wrong. I genuinely have no...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Laptop Recommendations?

I'm looking at buying a laptop but I'm feeling a little out of my depth with regards to specs. It will be used for gaming but also for 4K video editing and sound recording/production; my budget is £1500-£2000. I was considering the Vortex IX but a review I read had me a bit concerned about the...
