I have been looking around for a Laptop to replace my Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook. I am looking at the Enigma III 15.6 ". The specifications looks great although I have read some reports on an overheating issue, Has anyone have a serious problem with over heating? The machine is unlikely to be used for gaming just softwarte compilation and some video editing.
I have also specified an SSD drive as boot times are important. The low power consumption of the SSD drive was also part of my considering SSD. Has anyone experienced any serious issues with SSD compared with Mechanical drives. I am in the semiconductor industry an am well aware of flash memory limits with respect to endurance and sector sizes etc.
I am looking for professional feedback from people who have purchased and used the Enigma III. Build quality, performance, (I have opted for the highest i7 spec and memory options). Your feedback would be appreciated...
