    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST No Help

I don't know how component shortage can influence customer service to a point where replies take weeks rather than hours or days. Sorry.

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST HDD that OS is installed on can be listed in the Invoice

Sometimes you do get an over-eager technician ... I ordered two very fast m.2 (2TB SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS) and two SSDs (4TB Samsung 860 QVO) - asked specifically to please install the OS on the SSD as the M.2s were reserved for a specific project. It was still installed on the M.2 because 'it...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Does liquid need topping up ?

Yea - plus they said due to my 3 year warranty, I HAVE TO let them do it otherwise it voids warranty. Given it needs a pallet for shipping and the current delay - I probably wait :) Yea I keep an eye on temps but my CPU runs pretty cool - so I am sure it is ok for now Granted it isn't under...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Does liquid need topping up ?

I do wonder - is it like a car where despite it being a closed system, you still need to top it up ? My system is a year old and I can see the level is about 0.4 of an inch lower: There isn't a leak or something that I can see so just wondering if that is expected / normal. Thanks.

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Support actually reading tickets ?

Appreciated your response. I think communication is key. You can see it took almost three weeks for someone to reply : The delay isn't an issue. But all you say in the forum announcement is that the lead times are higher than normal. I highly recommend to have some sort of status page...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Support actually reading tickets ?

Badmouthing ? Going around ? Saying the way it is that PCS does not respond right now and that RMA take months is not badmouthing it is the sad truth .. When you spent nearly £8k on a system you expect better than that.

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST No Service

Having worked in a call center myself at the beginning of my career - I can tell you that 'none of your support agents dropping calls' is probably wishful thinking .. There are always people that 'just had enough' being shouted at and even with controls in place - agents will find a way to get...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Dissaater

I spent £7.5k on a new PC last year and I must say - the after sales support is shocking. It isn't so much about the work they do but the communication ... that's the worst part.

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Support actually reading tickets ?

A lot of companies claiming Covid to be the reason for poor customer service despite the fact people working from home and are capable taking calls and mails there. Is this is the same excuse PCS uses for not responding to tickets ?

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST New user, new customer (sort of)

Sorry for the late reply - I thought my account was deleted as I couldn't login - took a while to realise I used the wrong mail. Anyway @EdanC - The first error was potentially a problem with the monitor - it seems that the bios throws a GPU error even if the cable isn't plugged in correctly or...

@danhar827 At least you know that at the end of it you own a house - rather than rent where you could get kicked out daily.

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Re-format bit locked drive without the encryption key?

It's an M2 so you'd have to find a PC with a controller. Anyway, if it's a good machine and Essentially free, I'd just eBay an m2, Swap them and keep the old one in case they do want it back.
