I also heard that it wouldnt come out paired with anything greater until then also.
Well there is a competitor that does all those things and allows to remove all HDD.
I don't think I could afford a 2070 super GPU.
If a 2060 could last me between 3-5 at a push by lowering settings, I would be...
Yes, There is a big price difference which is why I keep changing between the AMD + RTX 2060 or the i710th Gen + RTX2070.
I could cut the difference further by going the Defiance VII which has the TX 2070 MaxQ but from reading reviews, Its not worth it.
I'll keep an eye out on a detailed review. I think we may have spoken on Reddit regarding your bad apple.
I may be interested in the defiance with a 2070 MaxQ also. What is the TDP of the 2070MAXQ in these laptops?
Maybe its just me as I'm currently looking at depth into the laptops but I seem to see more common faults on threads for the Vyper chassis laptops than the others? Is it a fairly new chassis? Are the issues related to build quality or defective parts?
I keep jumping between the Vyper with a...
I was going to just blow my budget on this setup but not sure if I'll bother now. Really liked the sound of this laptop too.
I have seen a few grumblings on Reddit and here recently so a little unsure.
I noticed the Optimus pro XI now has selectables for the AMD processors.
I also noticed that the 46WH battery is only listed but other manufacturers have the 62WH battery as a selectable option.
Is this going to be an upgradable option in the future?
Morning Charles,
Yeah that AMD one you had configured is pretty much exactly the one I was looking to order.
I did realise that if I went a 2070 route, It would have to be intel.
I was sort of hoping that like some other builds you could remove the HDD and OS to keep costs down.
I would have...
Well ideally just looking for best setup for my money.
Ive looked at pretty much everything from AMD and Intel.
I was set on a 4800H with a 2060 but looks like it got pulled and no longer shows.
However I don't have any preference of CPU.
I will say I don't require any hard drives as I have a...
Have any laptops with a 2060 refresh GPU been out in the wild yet?
Will this increase from 90w to 110-115W help their performance much? How would it fair compared to a 2070 maxQ?
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you, beer took over yesterday. Just got home from a long stint at work.
I think its the Optimus pro variants that I'm looking at.
It looks like the 17" is 5mm wider, 5mm shorter in depth but 6.5mm thicker and about 200g heavier. Hmm didn't realise it was that much thicker. Seems quite chunky.
The backpack I have is capable of holding a larger laptop anyway so I'm covered there.
I'll need to check the sizes again but I don't have access to an external screen to use so will be solely on the laptop screen.
