It's been a little while now after flashing my BIOS so I wanted to give and update that all seems good with my laptop :) Not sure the cause of the weirdness but flashing the BIOS definitely seems like the effective treatment! Thanks everyone!

Oh hmm I didn't have other options. I used the autodetect thing on AMD's website but also I just went here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-ryzen-processors/amd-ryzen-9-mobile-processors-radeon-graphics/amd-ryzen-9-5900hx There weren't other other options. Was I looking in the wrong place?

Ok this is weird, Hades starts and plays perfectly. I know its not that intensive but it also starts my fan going as normal. God of war still the same, Heaven Benchmark still the same.

No dice - no control center installed, still 5fps, still pretty silent, still says its used the RTX. Trying not to pull my hair out
