I will try out the RAM test as Scott suggests with the original 2133 MHz and the new 2133 MHz modules. It will take a couple of days to get back to you sorry as am tied up with lots of work stuff currently and the bank holiday looming. The original 2133 Mhz modules work...

The 2 x 8 GB , DDR4 2133 MHz modules that I am currently trying to upgrade with are from Amazon as PC Specialist were unable to supply it.
They did advise me that this is what I needed after they supplied me with 2 x 8...
Hi, thanks for the prompt response. The system will not boot at all. The power on off button top centre of keyboard lights up for a short period about ever 3 secs and thhats all that happens. I have let it do that for about a minute tops on the several attempts of RAM changes but it does not boot.

After running the CPU-Z prog can see that the current original RAM in the laptop CM4X4GF2133C15S2 is showing at 1.20 V on th SPD tab page in timing tables. If it would be of use here are som more details...
