I dont disagree Scott - but when trying to explain to my son that performance is more important than kudos from your peers because of an increased number on your CPU, he just glazed over :)

thanks everyone. I have change to the RMX 750 power supply, changed from 5900 to 5800 and kept with the 3070. Lets see what tomorrow brings ..............

Someone else in this thread said they had a similar email about the 5900 and changed to the 5800. This is also a pre-order part. But apparently their order went into build? I do not know if they also ordered a 3070? I have changed to a 5800 but not expecting anything. If i get a similar email...

yes the email said it was just the 5900 holding up the order. However, last week i receive another email saying just the PC case was holding up my order. I managed to get someone on the phone to ask if this was the only item out of stock. I was told they dont expect any delays with the 5900...

my order include the NVIDIA3070 and i am not sure if these are now in stock?

I have had the following laptop spec on order. I am told the AMD 5900 will not be ready in time for xmas. What is the next best thing to order that is in stock. Another AMD 9 or a 7 or do i switch to Intel? Not sure if i can switch AMD to Intel on ammend order? My current spec is below...
