    Found ot the problem, this may help others. Apparently It is resolved by opening Xbox Game Dock (pressing the windows key & G together) and disabling the "Show tips when I start a game" option under general settings. John

    I have never had a monitor that big before, speakers look great, and the headset looks good. I am asuming that the specs you chose for the PC build would easily run VM machine on it?

    Yes i have keyboard and mouse, both USB connections to old PC, i assume that these work well so not selected new ones, as for the rest, like i said erlier the monitor, speakers and desktop are well over 5 years old, maybe nearer 8-10.
