I'm not a purist. I'm happy running the proprietary drivers, as I'm going to be running proprietary software on it anyway (Mathematica and MatLab).

It'd be a nice to have rather than a must have, but mostly for OpenCL stuff with scientific computing. Might do some casual gaming too but that's not really a priority.
