Brilliant, thanks. My bad there, I thought you meant to go for a 4070, not the stock 4070Ti. I reckon I'll go with that last build.
I very much appreciate the time that has been spent helping me out; particularly from you, Scott, but also from Tony, and the like of agreement from Spyder.
Brilliant, thanks. Changing the graphics card is a massive difference so I added the 7950X3D.

Updated build. It's really just a few tweaks on the build that you recommended.
I was still considering the 4TB for the second M2 drive but, on consideration, I've gone with your, more reasonable, suggestion of the 2TB; I've kept the 4TB mechanical.

Ahoy,
Many thanks for the replies; both really useful.
I realised when I looked at the build you posted that I had erred on the boot drive and immediately did that change.
The build I posted was, and I'm sure it looked like, a bit of a 'throw all the highest spec in there' type build. I think...
Ahoy,
Thanks for your reply.
The monitors are already part of my current setup. A new monitor is an option but not for a while. Any upgrading to the build I settle upon is definitely not on the cards.
With regards to your recommended build... I'm not interested in getting a Radeon. I've worked...
Ahoy ahoy, I threw together a config, did a bit of tweaking, and came up with the below.
Any advice on where I've gone wrong would be gratefully received.
A few questions regarding what I've come up with:
The only difference between the KF and K seems to be UHD graphic support. Is that worth...
Excellent, thanks. Doubling the memory would make it a bit more expensive then I'd like; especially if I upped to 2666Mhz. Looks like it might be cheaper to grab a second DIMM from Amazon at a later date...
Thanks. I had initially intended to spending on a £1000+ system towards the end of the year. Unfortunately, my current (10-year old PCS - barring a few upgrades) system is very much on its last legs and I need a replacement ASAP (work being a big factor).
I'm not too fussed about future proofing...
I've tweaked around a little and come up with the following build; I'd be grateful for any feedback.

Hey,
My PC is getting tired. So tired it can barely keep itself awake :(
I've needed an replacement system for a while but more important things have taken presidence. Unfortunately, the state of my current PC, and the current WFH environment means I have to replace on a lower budget. Anyway, I...
Hi guys,
I was hoping someone on here could recommend a graphics card for me ... :)
The 8800GTS in my gf's computer (not my PCS computer which is fantastic) has died so I need to get a replacement card. I've got a budget of about £50. I was thinking maybe a GT430 or GT520 ...
Thanks in advance.
My new PC arrived :) It actually arrived on Monday but only just been able to set it up - not installed anything yet but having 64-bit Windows already installed was a time saver :)
One thing though... There wasn't an SLI bridge among the extra bits; it should have come with the Mobo, right...
Hi guys,
Been browsing the forum for the last few days and picked out a lot of advice and I've come up with the below spec for my new PC.
I want the PC to last me a few years and it will mostly be used as a gaming rig and a multi-media server. I've changed a few things from my first attempt a...
