Ah I see, your original build is alright and the bits I suggested are personal preference and small touches, the PSU being one.
Here's a copy paste explanation
"The fully-modular PSU has no cables attached to it, giving you the ability to cable manage your build much easier, have a cleaner...
A monitor for your budget can potentially be 29.5" MSI OPTIX MAG301RF, I didn't add it to the build below but it is available for selection at extra £195.
Not sure how heavy your 3D animation/Rendering work is but I'd think you want more powerful CPU than the selected one and if you are not...
Yes, I am in a similar position. Planning a new build within the first half of this year to take full advantage of the new AM5 and 6750 XT ticks the boxes for best value for performance GPU that also meets my requirements at the minute.
Do you have to stick with an Intel CPU? If not, here is something that might work for you -
Case
CORSAIR 175R RGB MID TOWER GAMING CASE
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X Six Core CPU (4.7GHz-5.3GHz/38MB CACHE/AM5) (equivalent if not better than your Intel choice)
Motherboard
ASUS® PRIME...
Solid build overall.
Since you are going for DOMINATOR PLATINUM I'd take the 5600 MHz ones, you will only be able to use 5200 MHz (cpu limitation) but for extra 9 quid you get 36 instead 40 CL ram sticks (it's slightly better/faster). I'd swap the 3070 for 10/12GB Radeon - 6700, 6700 XT or 6750...
Hi, I see you started this thread some time ago, received good feedback and hopefully learned more about pc builds.
Here is something very solid that I think it might work great for you and it's just 7 quid over your last budget numbers.
Case
CORSAIR 175R RGB MID TOWER GAMING CASE (Fits in...
Nothing is ever fixed by itself mate, it's just part of something bigger that we don't see...yet! :ROFLMAO: Also the nap definitely made the difference there but yeah anyhow I'm glad that's working for you now ;)
No problem. Yeah, I'd do the same probably and put my hopes on PCS official support to advise if this is a software issue and they've seen something similar previously or worst case scenario the audio jack is malfunctioning :cautious:
Update us with the details once it's resolved thought, would...
Yeah because of the specific custom build not surprised that you are not finding much online. You need to rely on the drivers provided by PCS and maybe ask them if there are any newer ones than the ones you have.
That's interesting but I can't pin it done to a specific root based on this...
Hey,
Not exactly experienced in what you are doing with the editing here but I will ask a question. Do you think that the processor power/speed is scaling well with the the speeds of the SSD you've chosen? I'm thinking you obviously get greater speeds if you go for m2 ssd but the question is if...
The only thing that we can safely rule out right now is that it's not your headset(s) but we are still looking at both software(setup/configuration of the audio bits) and hardware issue(faulty audio jack).
Software - I can see what you've tried in the initial post and that's okay but maybe try...
Hey,
Any changes made on the last session you had on that laptop before you shut it down? Installs of any apps, drivers, updates (including Windows)? You haven't mentioned that you ensured that sound was not muted when headset was plugged in - I know it's basic but better to clear this early on...
Hi there,
Not sure how long ago you have purchased the "old" laptop but as I can see you had some extra peripherals so the price on that invoice is higher than the offered "new" laptop. It seems to me that you are getting a better, updated version of your previous laptop. In fact, the older the...
You may actually need to enable some more advanced event logs that are by default not turned on/recording the data in "Event logs". I can look into the details of that if needed but yeah I hope too that you are all good since the reinstall (y)
FYI - if you google your motherboard brand/model and check the manual documentation - you will be able to find info on what the beep messages mean and you can figure out your next steps based on that.
Well done for figuring it out on your own!
Based on the initial information in the original post it does seem like RAM issue to me too. In fact I had similar problem probably now couple of years ago, for me it wasn't just shutting down/restarting but it would just freeze and I'd have to physically restart/shutdown. I was messing about...
Hi Lasse,
I will share my opinion and try to address your questions.
Longevity - you can't predict this but just by glancing the specs of this laptop and reading your requirements I'd say so yes, this laptop will last you a while
Work needs - This laptop seems a too powerful for your work...
