Hmmmmmm, yeah. I see your point. Never really thought of it like that for upgrades. That said, I'd not be that confident in doing such work myself.
Reason for getting a new PC. Probably just because I fancy one :):).
I'm quite impulsive and if I set my mind on something I usually go for...
Well then, say my budget is £2300 give or take. The monitor I have is Hannspree 32" curved screen (HG324 might be the model No). Haven't really looked into a new monitor in any detail but something in the 32/34" size region. Budget wise probs about £500.
That PC in the link is nearly 4 years...
I answered both questions re budget and monitor. Am I missing something here?
I haven't bought a new PC for nearly 4 years. What makes you think I've bought one recently?
This come in about £2,300 which has pushed my budget. As such an upgrade to a 4K monitor will have to wait a wee while (suggestions welcomed tho. Probably looking at a 32/34" wide screen to replace the Hannspree I currently have).
Seems I can't post the link without starting a new Thread...
I am about to order this. Use will be 4K casual gaming, photo editing and storage, music recording and editing (Reaper with audio interface).
Is there anything I need to tweak? Cheers.

The MX-5 is a nice looking car but just don't have the presence of The Stang. I've had a mega blinged (chromed) up PT Cruiser, a beast of a 300C (all Black with 22'' Chrome rims - looked like a gansta' drug dealers car;)) and a banana yellow face lift Z4. All head turners but I'll tell you...
Right, I think I'm about to order this build with the Coolermaster MB530P RGB case and Msi 27" monitor. Is there anything else I should be considering or any last minute tweeks? Cheers!
Thanks for that. Is there any specific reasons for your choices there compared to the ones I mentioned (which in fairness, I simply went for looks) ie aesthetics, practicality, functionality, air flow etc etc?
Cheers!
I've had a closer look at that and your reasons for selecting some of the components and have to say it does look tempting.
The only thing I'd change is the case as I fancy an RGB case (I think the one you chose was just white light fans) and am looking at either the PCS SR-628B or SR819 or the...
Cheers.
I'd probably leave it to be honest as the old PC will likely go to my daughter as is (minus all my files, music, videos, photography stuff, games etc etc once I've finished backing them up).
Wow, thank you very much indeed. I'll have a proper in depth look at that tomorrow (been dragged to bed to watch Call the Midwife😁😁🙄) but that initially looks great.
Thank you so much for taking the time to do that for me. Brilliant 👍
