intels proccessors are alot more so you wont get a good g-card with £600 wait for someone to post a Intel though. I know more about AMD :/ and very little at that

thanks for the ideas. I currently only have a 3 year old screen which uses vga is it worth upgrading to a new screen or will the vga be fine?

vga will be ok but if you want to play high quality games with top graphics they will look alot sexier in HD

nah, i think the i5 would be the best spec by far, i personally prefer the GTX560 as well

6870 is slightly faster than the 560 in benchmarks I think but yes the i5 will be a lot more powerful.
