1 long beep 2 short beep

Hello, I am having a problem with my new pc!

(When I start the pc I get beeping 1 long beep and 2 short and I get no signal on my screen
And used the pc just for 3 day's so can anyone help me to fix the problem?).

On an Asus board that would normally denote a RAM issue


Best to take out both DIMMS and put one back in, see if it will boot. If it does, then swap it for the other one and see if that boots.

If they both boot ok, then try both together again, perhaps one had just become loose in shipping.

If it doesn't boot with either, then you'd need to contact where you bought it from and explain there's a problem, best for them to swap out the RAM.

You can of course register it with PCS (just need proof of purchase) and they can ship you some replacement RAM, but where you bought it from should really sort it out within the 14 days of purchase window, and it would be a lot quicker also.
