17.3" Recoil® vs 17.3" Recoil® IV

The “Recoil” seems in all ways superior to the “Recoil IV” but it’s £500 cheaper. 11th gen vs 10th, RTX 30x0 vs 20x0, better M.2, Thunderbolt 4 vs 3. What am I missing?

I guess it’s just that the IV has higher spec parts by default.

Think it’s just that the only gpu left on the recoil 4 is the 2080 Super so the base price is higher because you can’t configure lower.

But yes, the newer model is a better buy

My take exactly. For £500 less you actually get more. It's in "testing" so just waiting for it to be delivered to my grandson in the next few days.
