Can someone compare the two available and suggest which is best. Is it really that one is just quieter than the other? I can't tell as they both cost the same.
The 3000 has one big fan, and the 2500 2 smaller fans.
Reviews i have read tend to favour the bigger fan for better cooling and acoustics. If you can find a 3000u elsewhere this gives you additional USB ports.
Id already ordered the 3000S . It seems to have 2 usb ports which doesnt bother me as I wouldnt expect to be using them anyway. Thanks for the feedback. (+rep)
