Hey everyone,
This is my first custom build pc so forgive me for any glaring errors. This machine will be used daily for 2d and 3d animation. The 3d will be using Redshift a GPU based renderer.
Some of the decisions have been made due to stock shortages with a view to updating down the line. I went with the 3060 as its in stock (I spoke to them on the phone) the motherboard is large enough to fit two 3000 series cards and I'm slightly over powered to accommodate 2×3090's down the line
The two ssd's is one for software/os and one for scratch disk and simulation caches then finally a hdd for files.
I am concerned about the cpu cooler but have no idea what would be an upgrade.
This is pretty much at my max budget, give or take a few hundred quid.
