2nd monitor - now it keeps crashing

Hello forum! Can anyone advise me please? I had to send this email to PCS just now. I am so sad about this. Please help!!! And yes, this PC is 4 days old!!!

Dear PCSpecialist

Received the PC on Friday. Really exciting to have a great PC that will play games and let me very efficiently work as well.

Everything was going GREAT until this afternoon.

My primary monitor is a SAMSUNG LED monitor, draws about 24W. I received a DVI to DP adapter today to enable me to connect my secondary monitor, also a SAMSUNG LED.

As soon as I plugged it in (whilst PC was switched on), the primary screen went black and simultaneously the fan went to full speed. No standard key combos worked so I ended up doing a hard power-off (long press on power button).

Before restarting I removed 2nd monitor cable.

It came back on, and I was able to do my meetings via Zoom and Teams, no problem.

This evening, I thought I would try the 2nd monitor again, but this time I connected it with PC switched off. It worked! I was able to move stuff around both screens, I thought "great" because I am now set up.

Then I launched Counter Strike Global Operations which has been playing so well at 500 fps up until today.

Less than 1 minute in, same issue. Fan up, black screen. Oddly I could still hear the audio.

Anyway, had to do a hard power-off.(HPO)

Unplugged 2nd monitor, started PC, seemed OK. Started CS:GO. Same thing happened. Did a HPO.

This time I did a power cycle, turned off at wall for 30 seconds. Started CS:GO. Same thing happened. Did a HPO.

Installed GeForce Experience and searched for a driver update. Found one. Installed that. Launched CS:GO. Same thing. HPO.

Showed my son this behaviour. It did it again.

At 2030 I did a clean reinstall of Win 10 Pro.

By 2120 I had reinstalled all my programs. Launched CS:GO. Same again. What the hell?!?!?!?!?!?

Over to you guys!

I notice, by the way, that during testing this machine had a problem. Would you mind sharing the details of that problem?

Also, in all my experience plugging in a 2nd monitor does not permanently damage PC components,

What are the next steps please?

I already waited over a month for delivery of this PC.

Thanks in anticipation for sorting this out for me.

Update:

At 2200 I installed 3DMark (demo) via Steam. 1 minute after using the TimeSpy benchmark, same behaviour. I had to HPO again.

Surely it's not possible for a monitor to damage a graphics card? That's unheard of.

The BSOD Doctor
Do you get any beeps on startup (apart from the normal single POST complete beep)?
On your motherboard there are four small LEDs on the right edge of the board about a third of the way down from the top. Are any of these LEDs lit? They indicate from top down, Boot, VGA, CPU, DRAM.

Normally a single beep. One time when I did a Hard Power Off I heard perhaps 3 or 4 beeps, but only that one time.

None of the LEDs appear lit - see photo.

There's a Speccy dump as well if you need it.
