2TB INTEL 670p M.2 Read/Write Speed Really Low

Hi

I purchased the below PC and was just doing a random check on the drive speeds and using Crystal Disk Mark got the below for the Intel m.2, there doesn't seem to be an issue with the boot drive a Samsung 980 Pro or even the HDD. I know the drive is almost at full capacity but would that cause such a low reading? All window updates including optional are up to date as of this post. I've took it out the slot and ensured its clean and seated correctly, Any ideas?

Are there any software bits for the intel drive? I know with the samsung ones there is samsung magician, and there was an option in there to enable a "full power" mode to get max performance out of it.

Also looks like the third pic is the intel one? Speeds look about right for 3500MB/sR and 2700MB/sW

I think you've got your D and E drives mixed up, as you say you have 2 x SSDs and 1 x HDD, and there's no way a HDD will return either of the bottom 2 results.

I think you're showing:
  1. HDD (D)
  2. Samsung SSD (C)
  3. Intel SSD (E)

Unless I'm being a complete idiot here I'm positive its the right way, it matches the utilisation shown in Crystal Disk also.

That's just what you've named them when you set it up...and it looks like you named the HDD as if it was the SSD...and vice versa.

What does the storage properties say for each device...

...just realised it doesn't show the drive name/letter next to each item :(

Bonus is, once you swap all your games from the HDD to the SSD M2 they should all run a bit quicker when loading etc :)

FYI the speed will decrease significantly after 60% capacity, it'll tank at 90% as suggested.

The great news is that even when it decreases, it's still very fast :D
