hello i have a 3060ti which i got with my custom build with PCS, however, whenever i play a triple A game e.g call of duty modern warfare or vanguard, then fan speed which im assuming is the graphics card is super loud.

im not guessing its my cpu as it has it watercooled with an AIO.

people have suggested undervolting to solve this problem, but when i watch videos etc its all confusing, i basically want my card to be alittle quieter but not effect longevity etc and i heard undervolting is the way.

unless theres an easier option, is there a undervolting for dummies out there haha as i just want it to be quieter when playing games or at least have suggestions.

Undervolting is to reduce temps.

Noise is generally caused by fans moving unecessarily fast.

You can normally apply a custom fan profile to reduce fan speed without affecting thermals.

Can you install GPU-z and tell us what make and model GPU you have? (Click the "lookup" button)

Under voting, my GPU did reduce temps, which in turn meant i could reduce the max fan speed, as had more headroom to keep the temps well within operating temperatures. i used MSI afterburner for my fan curve and for the undervolt. I also made a fan curve for my aio, which was needed as that would get very loud as well.
fan curves are the way to go, and this forum helped me so much. If you want to undervolt here is a basic guide that i watched several times before having a try
I am no expert, but before undervolt, my GPU was running at 75-80 percent fan to keep it within good operating temps, after with my fan curve I only have to have fans at 65 percent max speed on GPU, and it keeps the card at 70c while gaming. There are so many people with more knowledge than me on here, but can only share what i did
