3d art/gaming PC Spec

Hey all,

I'm looking to get a new PC built and its primary function will be 3d art so lots of blender/zbrush/substance/unreal engine (no doubt there will be some gaming and streaming thrown in too). With that in mind I'm splashing out on the 3080 and 64gb of ram. I'm not too clued up on CPU's/motherboard/cooling so would love some advice on that front. I'm switching over to AMD for the first time off the back of the initial research I've done. I'd looked at the Ryzen 9 but I'd like to keep the price closer to £2500 than £3k!

Nurse made the tweaks you’d want making, if you want more M.2 storage, there are some 2TB, but the saved work is more cost effective, to save onto a HDD than an SSD.

If you intend to upgrade it to a super power gpu in future though, you may want to look at a 1000w now, although your current build won’t even touch that. You may decided you want a 4090 and a 7950X cpu down the line 😆 and spending now on a few extra watts, is better than a brand new psu (how i see it anyway, long term savings).
