I need a faster cpu, will likely get a Core i7-3770T (its pretty much like the 3770 but 50% power use), how much faster will that be?

Is there anything else would help?

Thanks

3d Rendering Recommended Spec Please.

My current PC is too slow for this task & I'm not sure what I need.

I think an i7-3770(T) is a good start, and a lot of RAM (I have 8 now), any particular cpu? does the graphics card have any effect?

Currently I have a Case Silverstone SST-GD04B Black Brushed Aluminium Case + 350W PSU, would hope not to junk the current pc but upgrade so the case is a limitation, likely need better cooling.

If I need a new pc I will consider that also.

Thanks
