After enduring a monumentally **** and underwhelming two and a half years with my PC specialists, I couldn't wait to get my new MSI laptop when I finally saved up to get one.

For the most part it's run faultlessly, apart from a strange issue with the Hard Drive, which is now back in a shop having a backup of the hard drive made, before being sent back to MSI to replace under warranty.

In the meantime, i've had to jump back onto my Old PC Specialist laptop to fill in some Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop projects, and boy had I forgotten what a piece of crap this machine was. It has good specs, but the guys at PC Specialist have made a right pigs ear of building, maintaing and fixing the numerous faults ive had with it (lets not even get into the time they told me they would fix issues for me as a goodwill gesture, then refuse to send it back or fix to me until I had paid the price of the new parts - will never recommend them to anyone)

Why, why, why when my battery gets down to 30% does the machine, automatically switch itself off as if it is completely out of battery?

Why, why, why when I see this coming and manage to save my files intime, the next time I try to open it does Illustrator tell me that the document is damaged and cannot be repaired?

Why, why why is this the only laptop/computer brand that I have ever had this happen to me on - and unbeliveably within a week of jumping back on one of these **** boxes

Why, why why will the mods of this stupid forum, tell me off for using the word '****', and not offer any advice, help or answers as to how this con of a company is still going?

We (the Mods) don’t work for PCS, we’re all customers or just techies who enjoy helping out with the rigours of troubleshooting to get the most out of the system, and we do it for fun, and for me, a sense of gratitude towards PCS and especially this forum.

I only had a brief look over your history, but this is a family forum, and as such everybody needs to keep it clean. It’s part of the forum rules you sign when you join the forum.

Another forum rule is not to “Use the forums as a medium to tarnish the reputation or good name of PC Specialist Ltd, we value all feedback positive and negative and have support channels for this. Unconstructive negativism about the services of PC Specialist Ltd will be deleted without hesitation.”

We have no issues with complaints put in a constructive manner and will help out wherever possible, but we will not tolerate undue negativity of any form.

I get the impression you’re not here looking for constructive feedback.

I've tried to get constructive feedback before, and been offered **** all on a basis of posts over several months, though to be fair, that's just as much as from PCS themselves, so i guess there is a consistency there.

"Unconstructive negativism about the services of PC Specialist Ltd will be deleted without hesitation" and there we go - criticise the company, get your posts deleted - I've always thought the reviews for the company that I've read were suspiciously high for how poor their service, and the reliability of their machines is.

Threads are only locked extremely rarely on this forum. However, this topic seems to go against several forum rules, and feedback on various issues has already been given in previous topics.

There is plenty of open and honest criticism of PCS on these forums, highlighting errors they've made or improvements they should make, and genuine debate/discussion about that. There is also a lot of technical support offered informally by the community on these forums in addition to direct technical support available from PCS.

This thread doesn't appear to be looking for either kind of conversation, and so I am locking the thread.
