Hello all.
I've decided to replace my gaming laptop and have decided to use PC Specialist again due to there good service last year when I bought my desktop - especially the interest free option
Ive been looking at a setup based around the Proteus chassis, so a core of an i7 8750H, 16Gb Ram, Rtx2070 plus the usual M2 and SSDs
What I would like to know is how would the gaming performance of this compare to my desktop set up - i5 8600K, 16Gb, Gtx1080 plus the usual M2 and SSDs
Ideally Im hoping for similar performance or maybe even slightly better performance from the laptop - especially as I run my desktop in 1440 and the laptop will be in 1080.
Im very out of touch with what's hot and what's not in the land of Tech, so I thought I would ask on here for peoples opinions
