980/980ti with i5 760 and mATX

Looking for suggestions, ideas and any thoughts in general.

Considering upgrading from gtx 770 4gb classified to 980 series, possibly 980ti to be able to sustain stable/constant 60 fps at games like metro, witcher 3, gta v, possibly black desert (upcoming mmo) at ultra settings 1080p.

Should I consider replacing/any potential issues with my CPU (i5-760) or the motherboard that I bought here years ago (ASUS P7H55-M SI).

If I do need to replace cpu+mobo, are 2x 770s (04G-P4-3778-KR) SLI a viable option considering they are not easily available anymore and would probably have to try and buy used one off ebay (but would be cheaper than buying alongside 980). PSU is not an issue.

Thanks in advance

There is likely to be bottleneck with the gtx 980/980 ti since your CPU is quite old, I assume it would be more significant for CPU bound games.
Regarding your query about upgrades, I am afraid it is not encouraged to give advice on self builds here. You could try toms hardware instead

This is silly, stupid, useless and does not benefit anyone. Restricting pc oriented content on a pc forum, oh the irony.

I guess this can be locked.

It's not that silly... PC Specialist (who own this forum) sell custom PC's - which is why its not encouraged. We always try to point folk towards other forums where they can get the advice they're looking for.
