Is it possible to specify things you would like with a build ? like for instance, if I get a 2060 could I ask to specifically get a type of brand? or its just "you get what we give you" type deal ?

The only way to specify one is grab the ASUS card. Or you can source your own card and specify “I have my own graphics card” in the configurator and add it yourself.

But no, you just have to take pot luck of ordering a generic model.
