Activation key

Hi, I updated my hard drive because my previous one fried, I now need my Microsoft activation key as it isn't letting me activate it without it.
Its a Tornado R3 gaming PC. Online it says it may have been on the original box but I no longer have this! can anyone help please.

Hiya, in modern windows the key is tied to the BIOS, so it should automatically re activate so long as no critical system parts (motherboard, CPU) have been changed.

If you were logged in with a Microsoft account, it may have tied the key to that microsoft account, so you'll need to be sure you're logged in with the same account.

But there are no physical keys any more like there used to be. It will auto activate when it's next online.
