ADSL2+ Router Modem -- best buys?

Hi,

I’m looking to upgrade my old Netgear router modem and was wondering if anyone had and good suggestions for a replacement, or details of ones to steer clear of. Functionally I’m looking for:

• ADSL2+ compatible
• Gigabit Ethernet (preferably 6 or 8 ports, but can get by with 4)
• 5Mhz wireless with good range
• Good control s/w, including parental control, port forwarding, reserved IP addresses, etc.

All suggestions welcome!

I cant offer any suggestions,

but why not contact your ISP, explain that your router is faulty, and would they consider sending you a new replacement? saves buying an expensive one.

But I think ASUS do some decent routers, but no idea of pricing or specs.

Thanks -- I thought that my current one wasn't ADSL2+ comlient, but it seems that it is, so no need to upgrade now... Thanksfully!
