Advice for 1st time PC Builder

Hi

I have never done this before and have a couple of questions. I want the PC to play games (but not worried about maxing performance on high level games). We also watch quite a lot of films and TV series. I also need plenty of space for music and photos etc.

The budget is around £1000 all in inc monitor etc.

The questions I have are will the CPU and Graphics work well for games like Dawn of War and Diablo 3? Would I be better going for an AMD card?

Which cable do I need to connect the monitor to the card? I am presuming DVI

I need a wireless card, what is the difference between PCI and PCI-E?

Is this a sensible build given my budget

You thoughts are appreciated.

The 560ti is a good performer and will play most games atleast on high no problems. Obviously newer games will have higher requirments but they will play no problems on a 560ti at mid level settings if not high.
The CPU is all you need for gaming at the moment, anything more is not fully used. An i5 2500 is a perfect combo with the 560ti.

The monitor will connect via DVI.

PCI and PCI e cards perform the same, just sit in slightly different places on the motherboard. The choice is yours, i would go for PCI because it is older and your probably not going to use that slot for anything else, however it doesn't really matter.

The only other point i would make is regarding the HDD, if at all possible consider a caviar black for top performance but it's not essential.
