Advice For a Video Editing PC - Adobe Premier Pro

Hello,

I've placed an order today for a custom PC; I'm new to video editing and I don't know much about components. I use Adobe Premier Pro to edit my Youtube videos (HD). I'm just getting started with my Youtube channel and I'm looking for a budget option, I'm only going to use it to edit videos/ make thumbnails/ internet browsing/ the odd Skype and Zoom chat. At the moment my computer is quite old and I can't use Premier Pro efficiently, it crashes often and it takes about 8 hrs to render a 5 minute video! If I have a longer video, I need to edit it in chuncks and then stitch it together, that's how bad it is. I want to dramatically increase my productivity as I want to post on Youtube more than once a week. I'd be very grateful if I could get some advice in case I need to amend the order, here's what I bought:

I'm quite suprised no one jumped on this, I dont think this is a great build for your uses.

At the very least i would think you would want a r5 3600. (probably higher) You would definely want faster RAM, an M.2 ssd and better powersupply.

@SpyderTracks or @Scott What would be best for a budget video editing machine?

@Dan79 Sometimes posts get overlooked as there's just so many these days. Plus it is from May 21st and the OP didn't come back to bump their post or ask why we hadn't answered so they may have already bought it. But, yes, for video editing, the CPU is important so the 3600 or thereabouts would be a minimum level but the higher the better.....the rest of what you said was also correct. A good editing system is not much different from a good gaming machine except for the GPU is usually at a lower level

It was as much for the benefit of the second poster as the first ( I was away for a week and I had a notification for this post )

Of course with current waiting times may have a chance.

I did actually see the post but the system was already purchased and it's vastly less than I would look to spend for a Premiere build. I didn't see the need to wee on the cornflakes so simply abstained from offering my thoughts :)
