Hi all,
I've posted some specs above that I'm thinking about buying. I just had a couple of questions if anyone could advise.
- I have no idea what I'm doing with regard to cases. I would like something that will not cause heat issues, can fit all the other components and can reduce sound (if possible). I don't mind how big it is.
- Related to that, what extra case fans are useful to have to reduce overall heat without adding too much noise? Does anyone have experience with any of the options?
- I've tried to research motherboards but I'm finding it difficult to understand the differences. I'm looking for something that won't provide any sort of bottleneck and has the latest features in terms of USB, PCIe 4.0. I don't intend on ever having a second GPU.
Other considerations: I have a 49 inch Samsung G9 120Hz monitor. I'll be using the PC for gaming and software development - possibly game development. I'm happy to spend between £2,000 - £2,500 (My wife is paying..).
